Promising to take Delhi to new heights of development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised Delhi an option of choosing their power service provider on the lines of mobile number portability. He even pledged to make Delhi slum-free by 2022. He promised to usher in a corruption-free system, saying it has been started at the top and gradually it will reach down to colonies.​But, countering these promises, Dr Abhishek Manu Singhvi tweeted saying Modi government has only made promises for future. He also attacked the Aam Aadmi Party calling it a “failed experiment”. Singhvi, while attributing PM Modi as a ‘powerful orator’ said 75% of the Jan Dhan Yojna accounts opened by the NDA government are empty.
