Ashtuosh also talked about the lack of necessary “strength” of the Delhi Police. “Various committees have recommended to increase the strength of Delhi Police by double as around 30 per cent of the cops are deployed in security duty. The Centre should look into the matter,” the AAP leader added. The scheme, set to roll out from January 1 for 15 days, has been proposed to curb pollution in the national capital by restricting movement of private vehicles based on their registration numbers.
