His name had figured in the multi-crore Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) scam better known as the Vyapam scam.Sources said Shailesh, aged around 50, was seriously diabetic and hypertensive. He was reportedly absconding from Madhya Pradesh to avoid arrest in the scam and had been hiding in the house allotted to Ram Naresh Yadav in his capacity as former chief minister of UP. The Madhya Pradesh unit of Congress has demanded a CBI probe into Shailesh’s death.Shailesh’s body was found lying on the floor of this house situated in the tony Mall Avenue locality.Though family sources said Shailesh died due to brain haemorrhage, police have begun investigation into the case.
